By accessing and using Evergreen Tax Filer's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.
Services Description
Evergreen Tax Filer provides online tax preparation and filing services. Our services include:
- Federal and state tax return preparation
- Electronic filing with the IRS and state tax authorities
- Tax calculation tools and resources
- Access to certified tax professionals
- Audit support and representation (Premium plan)
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Review your tax return carefully before filing
- Comply with all applicable tax laws and regulations
- Pay all fees associated with your chosen service plan
Pricing and Payment
Our pricing is clearly displayed on our website. You will be charged only when you choose to file your return. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except as specified in our Maximum Refund Guarantee.
Maximum Refund Guarantee
We guarantee you'll receive the maximum refund you're entitled to under the law. If you find a larger refund with another service using the same information, we'll refund your filing fee plus $100. This guarantee must be claimed within 60 days of filing.
Accuracy Guarantee
We guarantee 100% accuracy in our calculations. If we make an error that results in IRS penalties or interest, we will pay those penalties and interest (up to $10,000). This guarantee applies only to errors made by Evergreen Tax Filer, not errors in information you provide.
Limitation of Liability
Evergreen Tax Filer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our services are owned by Evergreen Tax Filer and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease, but we will retain your tax information as required by law.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through our website. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
